Living with a neurological problem can be a lonely and difficult experience.

We believe that sharing your experiences and the strategies that work for you, can help you feel more positive and less alone.

The South East Neuro Social group takes place every third Wednesday, 11:00am – 12:00pm. It is a safe and friendly space to meet others, give support and get support. For now, we are bringing people together using Zoom. When you sign up, we’ll send you some instructions to get you up and running, along with the group ground rules.

Our monthly chats are led by Brain & Spine Foundation volunteer, Chantelle, and overseen by a Brain & Spine Foundation staff member. If you are aged 18 or over and would like to join then please fill out the form below. Or if you would like to know more about how it works, or would like to set up your own group in your area, please contact us on [email protected]

A few words from Chantelle

My name is Chantelle and I live in Kent with my husband and two teenage children. I have a severe form of functional neurological disorder (FND) and dysautonomia which affects my organs and how they function. I am a full-time wheely and spend my time at home creating art and crafts. My hope for South East Social is to facilitate a space that is inclusive, diverse and friendly. You can come to get advice, offer emotional support to others or simply have a break from the routine with others who understand. I’d look forward to meeting you soon!
