An online self-help group for those living with nerve injury to share their experiences, catch up and feel mutually supported.
With the limited number of UK organisations and charities for those with nerve injuries, this self-help group was set up, in partnership with the Brain & Spine Foundation, to provide a safe and confidential space for you to talk about your nerve injury, and its impact on your life, openly to others with a shared understanding.
Nerve injury causes damage to the nerves, impacting their ability to carry signals between the brain and the rest of the body. Nerves can be injured by physical trauma, such as a road traffic accident, or as a result of an underlying condition, such as diabetes or chemotherapy.
This group will be led by Poppy and meet monthly over Zoom, on the 15th of every month from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
If you would like to join the group please fill this form.

”When my mum was diagnosed with Chiari malformation, I remember reading the Brain & Spine Foundation’s information on the condition to help me understand what she was going through. After hearing how the charity sought to empower those living with a neurological condition to improve their quality of life, I knew the Brain & Spine Foundation would be a good fit for me.”
