Creativity comes in all forms; from a doodle on a coaster to a watercolour painting, a poem about your pet, an inspirational quote you heard, taking a photo of something that catches your eye. Creativity is all around us; for example, in the clothes we wear to the items we choose to have in our house, we use it in a variety of activities such as gardening and cooking, nature walks and singing.

The group is a safe space where you can try a creative activity and contribute to a forum that shares ideas and inspirations. Previous sessions include Drawing the Breath, Colour Inspired, Mini Books, Portraits, Blackout Poetry, Curiosity Cabinets, Junk Art and many more! You do not have to be an artist to join and we aim to make sessions accessible to all and using materials you have around you. All we ask is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to have a go!

Dates: Fridays, seven sessions from 23rd February – 19th April
Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm
Sessions are online, via Zoom
Please note that the group is now at full capacity.

Meet programme facilitator, Kate

“We aim to provide a variety of accessible activities, for example; drawing, creative writing, collage, crafting that can be achieved remotely and mostly with resources sourced from your home environment. Activities may involve a mixture of working independently, working in pairs or small groups. All sessions will incorporate some time for sharing with each other and reflecting on the work achieved. I look forward to welcoming you on board!”
