What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a government programme that makes donations given to charity tax-effective. It means an extra 25p is added to every £1 you give! So if you give a £10 donation, we will receive £12.50.

As soon as you give your permission, we can claim the tax back on your donation.

Can I Gift Aid my donation?

If the below statements apply to you, then please fill in the form below and we can claim Gift Aid on your donation.

  • I am a UK taxpayer and I would like Brain & Spine Foundation to treat any donations I make in the future and have made in the past 4 years as Gift Aid donations, until I notify you otherwise.
  • I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and / or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand that Brain & Spine Foundation will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.
  • Gift Aid is reclaimed by Brain & Spine Foundation from the tax I pay for the current tax year. Please let us know if your tax circumstances or name and address details change so we can amend our records.
