Palliative Care and Neurological Conditions: Defining the Way Ahead

Key objectives for the day are to:

  • Explore the level of need for palliative care for those with neurological conditions
  • Identify current involvement of palliative care for people with neurological conditions
  • Highlight good practice examples to influence clinical practice on the ground from both the neurology and palliative care perspectives
  • Suggest a pathway to enable service development
  • Provide a forum to discuss how the information learnt can be transferred into realistic actions to initiate change
