A new patient perspective article tells the story of David, and the atypical symptoms that he experienced before his brain aneurysm was finally detected.

Because of David's unusual symptoms - severe neck, shoulder and arm pain and later, hallucinations, he was thought to have a pulled muscle, then a chest infection was suspected. After several seizures, a CT scan revealed that David had a brain aneurysm - but unfortunately his story didn't end there...
