Jayne's Journal Chapter 3: waiting for news from the doctors

The latest chapter of Jayne's Journal - a diary documenting her husband Clifford's sudden suspected stroke and the aftermath - is online now.

Previously, Clifford had not been expected to survive the night when he was admitted to hospital, but he came round and was visited by Jayne and the family. But later he started drifting in and out of consciousness and there was real concern for his health.

In this chapter Jayne and her family and friends gather in the relatives' room before finally catching up on some sleep. Jayne describes how it felt to wait for news - and to find out she wasn't the first to know what's happening.
