Hydrocephalus Focus Scotland: can you help with this new project?

01 September 2010

Are you a person with hydrocephalus as a sole condition, and living in Scotland? If so, you may be interested in a new project from the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.

As a result of a successful funding application, the Scottish Spina Bifida Association has been awarded a grant from the RS MacDonald Trust to develop and expand the existing support that the Association offers to individuals with hydrocephalus only.

"This exciting new development will enable us to identify what we know is a significant number of both children and adults who are affected by this condition throughout Scotland," says Anne Metcalfe at the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.

"The eventual aim of the project is to provide a dedicated hydrocephalus telephone helpline, to raise awareness of the support we offer and provide specialist advice and information to individuals and professionals."

If you would like further details of this Project or the support currently offered, please contact Anne Metcalfe at the Scottish Spina Bifida Association by email at annem@ssba.org.uk or by telephone on 01236 794516.
