Here's a roundup of some forthcoming events for people with neurological conditions, organised by The Children's Trust, the Spinal Injuries Association and the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust.
- Me, Myself and ABI - growing up with acquired brain injury
Sunday 18th September 2011, Holiday Inn at Chessington World of Adventures Resort
A special one-day event for young people aged 14 -19 with an acquired brain injury. £15 per place.

- Training courses for people affected by spinal cord injury
The Spinal Injuries Association delivers a programme of courses at the spinal cord injury centres around the country on self-advocacy (Your Voice), Housing, Parenting, Making a Claim under the Equality Act and Funding and Managing your Care Needs. The courses, which are delivered by spinal cord injured trainers and free to attend, are aimed at spinal cord injured people but are also (with the exception of Your Voice) open to family members, carers/PAs and healthcare professionals.

- Patient and Carer Information Day – Brain Tumours
Friday 7th October 2011, Brighton Seafront Holiday Inn
A chance for patients and carers to connect and learn more about brain tumours from leading experts. There are also some spaces for healthcare professionals who wish to attend. Free places available.
