Congratulations to Team Sparkle!

ShazzieCongratulations to the 36 members of Team Sparkle, a group of family and friends who ran the Hastings Half Marathon yesterday, in memory of Sharon Waller (Guy) (pictured, right).

Sharon, a devoted Mummy to 3 young sons, was a vibrant young lady who was known for her 1000 watt smile and her sparkling personality. She died aged 34 on 19th May 2009, following a subarachnoid haemorrhage.

In memory of Sharon, the Shazzie Sparkle Trust was set up to raise funds for various charities including the Brain and Spine Foundation, and yesterday Team Sparkle, a 36-strong group of Sharon's friends and family, ran the Hastings Half Marathon in her memory.
