Brain aneurysm documentary: share your experience on film
17 May 2011
Do you have one or more unruptured brain aneurysms? Or have you survived a subarachnoid haemorrhage caused by ruptured aneurysm? Then you might be interested in taking part in a documentary exploring the psychological and physical effects of brain aneurysms.
The documentary, which has the working title "Survivors", will document and explore the experiences of three to five individuals affected by brain aneurysms, and its director, Ben Hay, is looking for people to take part.
The project was devised and developed after Ben was diagnosed and treated for a sub cranial berry aneurysm at the age of 26.
"Currently, their exists little public awareness of survivors of aneurysms, but rather the press focuses on individuals who have unexpectedly lost there life to the sudden nature of the condition," says Ben.
"This documentary aims to shed light on the individuals who have not only survived, but continue to live their lives post diagnosis, treatment or rupture."
