2010 in review: Providing information, improving understanding, reducing anxiety

The Brain and Spine Foundation's Annual Review for 2010 looks back on a year of providing important services for people with neurological conditions.
Here's a look back on the year in numbers:
- Helpline nurses talked, emailed or wrote to over 3,000 people about their specific concerns
- This year 11 new booklets and fact sheets were published
- We handled 50,000 requests for brain and spine information
- We delivered 20 training courses for social care staff and healthcare professionals in six areas of England to help them communicate better with patients / clients affected by neurological conditions
- Over 35,000 people visited the Brain and Spine website every month to read or download information on neurological conditions and their treatments
