Advances in brain imaging and neurosurgery during the past twenty years have led to improvements in treatment for children with brain tumours. However, we do not know what causes these tumours to start. Building on the recent discovery of a new group of genes, this project aimed to improve the understanding of the way in which children's brain tumours grow and respond to treatment.
