Recovery of function following brain injury remains unpredictable and poorly understood. Recent neuro-imaging experiments have begun to identify the possible mechanisms by which the brain compensates and adapts following brain injury. This project investigated the question of how the process of recovery/adaptation can be influenced by psychological or drug treatment.
