Leaving a gift in your Will
Our work is entirely funded by donations from our generous supporters and we are hugely grateful to those that choose to remember us in their Will.
Whether you choose to leave a share of your estate or a sum of money, it will make a big difference to the lives of those affected by neurological (brain and spine) problems.
Legacies left to the Brain & Spine Foundation help us to run our services, for example by:
- Covering the cost of our helpline run by neuroscience nurses.
- Enabling us to develop reliable, accessible information booklets and factsheets.
- Allowing us to create accessible information online.
To leave a legacy to the Brain & Spine Foundation, you need to have a valid Will, properly drawn up and witnessed. There are many benefits to having a Will - it puts you in control of your estate; it can help save inheritance tax and it enables you to make an impact on the lives of others.
12 million people in the UK are living with a neurological condition
More people die from brain and spine conditions than from heart disease or cancer
Every 30 minutes, a child will acquire a brain injury
