Audio versions of Brain and Spine Foundation fact sheets

We now offer audio versions of some of our fact sheets. These are in mp3 format, which you can listen to using a media player on your computer, or download and save to a CD or an mp3 player.

If an audio version is available there will be a link at the top of the page that says "Listen to mp3" that looks like this:


On the fact sheet page, click on this link to listen to the audio file. If you want to save the file rather than listening to it straight away, right click the link and click "Save Target As" or "Save Link As".

Frequently asked questions


I can't hear the audio file, what's gone wrong?


There could be several reasons why you can't hear the file:
  • Does your computer have a sound card?
  • Do you need to plug in speakers or headphones?
  • Do you have an application installed on your computer that plays mp3 files, such as Windows Media Player?

Can I save the audio file on a CD or mp3 player?

Yes, you can. Just right-click on the "Listen to mp3" link and click "Save Target As" or "Save Link As". You can then choose to save the file onto your computer, and from there you can put it onto a recordable CD or an mp3 player.

Can I order a CD of the audio fact sheets?

Currently, these audio files are only available through our website.

The fact sheet I'm interested in doesn't have an audio version. Will you be producing one?

We don't have any firm plans to produce any more audio fact sheets, but we're very interested to hear what you think. Contact the Helpline on 0808 808 1000 or helpline@brainandspine.org.uk if you feel that the topic you are interested in should have an accompanying audio version.
