Our information project - funded by The Big Lottery Fund
In 2008 the Brain and Spine Foundation was awarded funding from The Big Lottery Fund to develop our vital information services. Thanks to this grant, worth £260k over 3 years, we made our information services accessible to even more of the thousands of people who need it.

Working together with partner organisations
As part of the project, the Brain and Spine Foundation began working with a number of partner organisations to ensure that as many people as possible can benefit from our information services. The project is now over but we continue to work with our partner organisations and welcome new collaborations.
Although we handle 50,000 requests for information every year through our website and our Helpline, we know that there are potential service users who may benefit from our information services but who are not yet aware of them. Working with partner organisations, including charities, hospital PALS departments and information centres and others, we hope to reach people who may not have access to the internet, or have not been directed to our helpline services by their hospital or GP.
So far, partner organisations working with us include:
- Astro Fund
