Information for children and young people
Hello! Welcome to the Headstrong children and young people’s page of the Brain and Spine website.
What is Headstrong?
The Brain and Spine Foundation make information and hold events for children and young people with brain and spine conditions. We call these projects Headstrong. Headstrong is all about finding out the sort of things that children and young people with brain and spine conditions want see and do. We think it is important to listen to children and young people and find out what they think.
Headstrong began by working closely with a group of children and young people affected by brain tumours. The children who were involved told us about their experiences, what they wanted to know about and what they would find helpful. They helped us develop a website, information file and magazine on brain tumours www.headstrongkids.org.uk Without the help of children and young people we wouldn’t have got the information right.
