Cancer atlas of the United Kingdom and Ireland 1991-2000

In the 1990s, approximately 2,400 males and 1,900 females were diagnosed with brain cancer each year in the UK and Ireland. Tumours of the central nervous system (brain and spine) are the second most common form of cancer in children aged 0-14 years.
