Gift aid
Under the Government’s Gift Aid Scheme, the Brain and Spine Foundation can reclaim the tax made on donations by UK taxpayers. This means that, if you are a UK taxpayer, paying income tax and/or capital gains tax, your gifts to us can increase by nearly a third – at no extra cost to you.
For every £1 donated, the Brain and Spine Foundation can claim an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue, making your gifts worth even more to the people the Brain and Spine Foundation supports.
For example:
• If you give £10
• The taxman will add £2.82
• Giving a total of £12.82
What you need to do?
To enable the Brain and Spine Foundation to claim back the tax already paid on your donation(s) please download the Gift Aid Form (51 kb)![[pdf]](/display_images/document_icons/pdf.gif)
and return to the Foundation.
