The art of fundraising: Stroke survivor raises cash with rediscovered talent
Stroke survivor Dave Cope is combining 2 of his passions to help his rehabilitation and raise money too.

A keen watercolour artist, Dave rediscovered his hobby while recovering from a life changing stroke.
"I decided to use art, together with my passion for rallying, as my therapy," he says.
Dave's painting (shown, right) is of rally driver Andy Burton's Peugeot Cosworth car.
"It was only natural for me to paint an image of the car that has given thousands of people such enjoyment every time it has been out on the stages," says Dave.
"The painting is a detailed and excellent quality illustration of Andy taking the car to it's final ever victory on the 2011 Woodpecker Rally."
Prints for sale
Dave is selling prints of his painting to raise money for the Richard Burns Foundation - a trust set up following the death of rally champion Richard Burns from a brain tumour, which is supporting the Brain and Spine Foundation in 2012.
"During my early recovery the Brain and Spine Foundation provided me with some fantastic help and support. Therefore I thought it would be appropriate to raise money for the Richard Burns Foundation, who are partners of the Brain and Spine Foundation." says Dave. Fifteen per cent of each sale, plus Gift Aid, will go to the Richard Burns Foundation on behalf of the Brain and Spine Foundation.
"To date 64 prints have been sold and it has raised £320," says Dave. I'm hoping that sales will increase further!"
