Volunteer for the Brain and Spine Foundation

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with all sorts of work at the Brain and Spine Foundation. It's a great way for you to gain experience while helping us to provide services for the 10 million people in the UK living with a neurological condition.

Develop your skills

Working for the Brain and Spine Foundation as a volunteer can give your CV a boost. Whether you simply want to get some office experience, or you'd like to showcase a specific skill to help develop your career, your time as a volunteer will be well spent with the Foundation. You can volunteer at our London offices or from home.

Help at a fundraising event

Get the feelgood factor by helping to support our fundraisers!

From March to October, we need occasional volunteers to help us organise and run our fundraising events, which include the London Marathon and the Great Manchester Run. These events bring in a third of the Foundation's income, so your input will be vital - the better supported our eventers are, the more motivated they will be to raise lots of sponsorship.

Duties would include:

  • Being part of the crowd to cheer people on at events
  • Helping with post-race parties
  • Sending mailouts to eventers before and after the events
Here are some of the perks:

  • There is a great feel-good atmosphere
  • If you help us with the London Marathon, you’ll get to meet our celebrity team captain and visit the Arsenal Emirates stadium
  • Job satisfaction - Volunteers are vital in making sure our eventers feel valued and supported.
