Flora London Marathon 2009
Congratulations to all those that took part on Sunday 13 April 2008! In total we had 53 runners and an amazing £130,000 was raised.
Why not join the Daily Telegraph/Foundation Team for 2009!
The Brain and Spine Foundation/Daily Telegraph team is currently recruiting for London Marathon runners.
We also welcome any runners with their own place. There is obviously no minimum sponsorship required if you have your own place; any money you raise for the Foundation will be helping to make a real difference to the lives of people with neurological conditions.
In celebration of our 11th year of working with the Daily Telegraph, we have a very special team captain - Olympic gold canoeist Tim Brabants. Also a medical doctor, Tim is fully aware of the devastating effects of brain and spine conditions and is fully committed to the cause. So far our team is 80 strong and rapidly growing. Please contact Sarah Himelfield if you would like to join us at sarah.himelfield@brainandspine.org.uk or on 0207 793 5913.
We will help you to prepare by providing:
- A Welcome Reception
- Expert Health and training advice
- Team training runs including a run with team captain Tim Brabants
- Coverage in the Daily Telegraph and Regional Press
- A Free sponsor pack and running vest
- A Post Race Party with massage
