Sir Michael Jenkins OBE
Prior to 1971 Michael Jenkins worked for Shell, IBM and as a management consultant. Since then he has been Technical Director of the London Stock Exchange, Managing Director of the European Options Exchange, Chief Executive of LIFFE, Chairman of the London Commodity Exchange, Chairman of the Futures & Options Association and Chairman of the London Clearing House. He is currently a company director and also a Governor of Sevenoaks School. The LIFFE market was an early supporter of the Brain and Spine Foundation and he became a member of the council and chairman of the Executive Committee in 1993 soon after the charity was set up.
