Amanda Walsh

Amanda Walsh Amanda joined Red Cell in April 2004 as European CEO. In collaboration with Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, Andy Berlin, Amanda’s focus is on the growth and reputation of the Network. With a strong entrepreneurial streak and a passion for the creative product, Amanda is well known on the British advertising scene.

Red Cell is a new WPP network made up of strong, independent, creative advertising agencies located in key markets around the world. The network’s flagship agencies are Berlin Cameron / Red Cell in New York (US Agency of the Year 2003) and HHCL / Red Cell in London. Clients of the network include Alfa Romeo, Coca-Cola, Godiva, Pfizer, Singapore Airlines, Sky and Unilever.

Prior to Red Cell, Amanda was CEO and a founding partner of the London agency Walsh Trott Chick Smith, which was launched in 1995. She is credited with helping to create a vision and strategy for the business, which became the 25th fastest growing company in the UK (source: Sunday Times) within 3 years.

Before this, Amanda spent nine years at WCRS, becoming Managing Director in 1992. Key clients during her tenure included BMW, Carling Black Label, Prudential, Sega and the launch of Orange in 1993.

Amanda is a member of The Marketing Society, the IPA and WACL (she was President of WACL in 2002).
